HARRISBURG, Pa.–A 46-year-old woman is facing charges after police say she pushed an elderly woman down a flight of stairs in Harrisburg over the weekend.

Alicia Koch, of Harrisburg, is charged with aggravated assault. She was arraigned Sunday on $10,000 bail.

It happened Saturday along the first block of South 15th Street.  Staff at the building told investigators that a 66-year-old woman was pushed down a flight of stairs. The woman suffered a fractured hip, two fractured ribs and a brain hemorrhage, police said.

Koch was arrested at the scene.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 6.
