Myerstown woman identified as victim in fatal head on crash

LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. – Cornwall Borough Police identify the victim in a fatal crash in Cornwall Township Monday afternoon as Judith Ann Light, 61, Myerstown. The violent head on crash with a tractor trailer happened shortly after 3 pm on Freeman Drive, (Route 419) between Alden Street and Alden Way.

Police say, Light, driving a white Pontiac van, was traveling east on Freeman Drive, crossed over into the westbound lane and crashed into a tractor trailer. The lone occupant of van, she was pronounced dead at the scene by the Lebanon County Coroner.

The tractor trailer driver, Dustin Lee Heistand, 35, of Manheim, Lancaster County, sustained a minor laceration to his hand and was treated at the scene.

Freeman Drive between Cornwall Center and Maple Lane was closed for nearly four hours while the crash was being investigated.
