TREDYFFRIN TWP, Pa- Police in Chester County are continuing to investigate a home invasion/robbery that happened in the beginning of March in Tredyffrin Township.
According to police, on Saturday March 12th just before 1:00 a.m. police responded to the 100 block of Crestline Road. The victim told police that she woke up to unidentified male wearing a Halloween type mask standing in her bedroom at the foot of her bed.
The suspect bound the victim with duct tape, and told her, “Be quiet and you won’t be hurt.” The suspect ransacked the residence, finding the victim’s Wells Fargo ATM card and her car keys.
The suspect intimidated the victim by displaying a stun gun type of electronic restraint device, which caused the victim, to provide the her PIN number to her bank card, police said.
The suspect is being described as being about 5’10” tall, weighing 180 lbs. with broad shoulders, and wearing a Halloween mask with a bulbous nose and gloves.
The suspect left the house with the victim still bound with duct tape, taking jewelry, a radio, and the victim’s car.
The suspect drove to the Wells Fargo ATM, approximately 2 tenths of a mile from the victim’s residence, and used the victim’s ATM card.
Once the suspect was gone, the victim managed to get free, and called 911.
The Tredyffrin Township Police Department is actively and tirelessly searching for this criminal. Police did locate and recover the victim’s vehicle at the Strafford Train Station.
