CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Hungry to help, people in Franklin County  went out to lunch at a fire hall for a fundraiser on Saturday. Serving up food with a smile and a wave, a barbeque luncheon was held at the Franklin Fire Company in Chambersburg.

Funds from the event will go towards the Franklin County Public Safety Training Center. The center is used by firefighters, police, and emergency personnel.

"We've had a nice crowd good people coming out people donating," Senator Rich Alloway (R- York, Adams, Franklin, and Dauphin Counties) said. "It's just a donation for lunch people give $5 they give $25 dollars. Whatever they would like.  We will gladly accept."

If you didn't make it out to lunch, or the food was gone, a gofundme page has been set up for the project.
