DERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. - An Olympic gold medalist is helping the community by hitting the ice. Aspiring skaters and their families came out to meet Scott Hamilton in person at the Hersheypark Arena on Saturday afternoon. They joined the figure skater on the ice while showing off their own moves.

The event was held in support Hospice Central Pennsylvania.

""It's an exciting event," hospice board of directors member Linda Pagliarulo said, "we're happy for the money that comes into our non-profit and it's also just a fun evening for everybody."

Families at the event also got to take a tour of the Hersheypark Arena.
