EPHRATA TWP, Pa – Police arrested a man Saturday for stealing from Walmart, turns out he was already wanted out of New Jersey.
According to police, they were called to the Walmart along the 800 block of East Main Street in Ephrata.
Store asset protection employees detained two people for failing to pay for $110 worth of merchandise.
Carol Wilson, 49, and Ramon McCray, 34, both of Lancaster, were arrested for retail theft, police said.
A warrant check revealed that McCray was wanted by the Essex County, New Jersey, Sheriff’s Department for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
McCray was put into Lancaster County Prison on a fugitive charge to await return to New Jersey.
