YORK, Pa.-- With the month of April already in full swing, the Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center is already turning its attention to upcoming May events.

Today on FOX43 Morning News, Strand-Capitol announced a number of events.

The center will be hosting a Ballroom with a twist on May 14, a show that is said to take an obsession of reality shows like American Idol or So You Think You Can Dance? to the next level. The performance will feature Anna Trebunskaya, and Dmitry Chaplin, from both Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance.

Chris Isaak’s upcoming tour in conjunction with his critically acclaimed new album First Comes The Night will include a performance at the Strand-Capitol on May 18.

Finally, the Strand-Capitol and Weary Arts Group have teamed up to create a Summer Theater Camp for kids ages 6 and older who love to sing, dance, or act on the big stage. The camps will run full-day for two week sessions in June and July at the Strand-Capitol. Registration is now open, and for more information you can visit their website.
