YORK, Pa. —  Technomic, an independent research firm in the foodservice industry, surveyed a group of convenience store customers to rank their preferences across 40 top convenience chains. Rutter’s is extremely proud that of the two areas surveyed it was rated first in Brand Fit and Loyalty and came in a close second on the list for Best Food and Beverage.

“At Rutter’s, we value our customer’s opinions. To be a part of a survey amongst so many other well-known convenience stores is an honor amongst itself. We thank our customers for ranking us first and second in the survey.  We love serving the changing needs of our customers in the communities we serve,” said Derek Gaskins, Rutter’s Chief Customer Officer.

With roots dating back to 1747, Rutter’s 269 year history makes it the oldest vertically-integrated food company in the United States. Rutter’s is widely recognized as an industry leader in food service, innovative technology and customer service.  Rutter’s was the first U.S. convenience store chain to win the coveted “International Convenience Retailer of the Year” award in 2014.  It is guided by the family’s 3rd generation of leadership with Scott Hartman president and CEO, Todd Rutter as president of Rutter’s Dairy, and Tim Rutter as president of M&G Realty.
