Man dies after falling from roof while he was working in York

YORK, Pa- The York County Coroner announced Sunday that  43-year-old Tony Zang fell about 50 feet Friday afternoon while working on a roof at Pennex Aluminum in Wellsville, York County.

According to the coroner,  Zang died at the scene of the accident on Community Street. He was employed with MJ Delp Construction in Dover.

This is the second work-related fatality in York County this year, the coroner’s office said.

OSHA and Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.
