Man, woman charged in separate weekend domestic assault incidents

CARLISLE, Pa. – A man and a woman are charged with Simple Assault Domestic Violence in two separate incidents in Carlisle over the weekend.

On Saturday, April 9, at about 10 p.m. Carlisle Police responded to a reported assault at a residence on the 1200 block of Spring Road. A male and female at the residence were in an argument that turned physical.

During the altercation, the male punched the female in the face, causing her eye to swell significantly. The male was identified as 28 year old Travis Harper.

At about 3:04 am on Sunday, April 10th, Carlisle Police responded to a report of an assault at a residence on the 200 block of N. Bedford Street.

A male and female at the residence had been in an argument that turned physical. Both individuals sustained minor injuries from the altercation. It was determined that the female at the residence, identified as 28 year old Danielle Murphy, was the primary aggressor.

Harper and Murphy were taken into custody in each incident and transported to Cumberland County Prison for arraignment.
