HARRISBURG, Pa.--The ballet is not coming to Harrisburg but the capital city is getting its own "Swan Lake."  Mayor Eric Papenfuse showed off Italian Lake's newest residents in uptown Harrisburg.

Two white swans live there now. Two black ones are on the way. All four are being rented from a swan farm in Halifax, Dauphin County.

Along with sprucing up the overall appearance of the lake, the city is hoping the swans can keep some other guests away.

"We actually hope they might limit the geese population a little bit by protecting their turf ... sometimes the lake can get overwhelmed with geese so we're thinking this could help create a more natural balance," says Mayor Papenfuse.

The friends of Italian Lake community group helped bring in the swans and will take care of them. They will be in Harrisburg for the summer.
