NEWBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa.-- Coming off a whirlwind season, members of the Red Land Little League team took the field on Saturday, ready to play ball once again.

All of the teams in the Red Land Youth Baseball League took part in Opening Day ceremonies at the baseball complex in Newberry Township Saturday morning.

During the events, special rings were presented to the players and coaches of last year's U.S. Championship team, who made it all the way to play in the Little League World Series in Williamsport.

After the ceremonies, the Red Land champs played an exhibition game, followed by regular games for all of the league's teams.

FOX43's Bill Toth was also on hand, announcing all of the day's events.
