Man threatens to stab victim in attempted robbery

LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. – A manhunt for the suspect in an attempted armed robbery Monday afternoon at a Lebanon City convenience store.  It happened at about 1:05 p.m. at Zweier’s Food Mart at 505 S. Lincoln Avenue.

The suspect displayed what the store clerk believed was a knife and threatened to stab her if she did not hand over some money.  After she refused to give him any cash, the suspect ran away prior to the arrival of police.

The bandit is described as a white male, in his 30’s, medium height, thin build wearing a dark gray hooded sweat shirt covering the majority of his head.
