State Police: Millcreek Twp fire intentionally set

MILLCREEK TWP., Lebanon County Pa. –The fire last night at a residence located at 25 S. Parish Avenue in Newmanstown, Millcreek Twp. was intentionally set, according to State Police.  Troopers were called to the fire scene around 9:30pm when it was determined to be suspicious in nature.

After the responding Fire Departments extinguished the fire, Lebanon County Fire Marshals and the PSP Fire Marshal responded to the scene. Preliminary findings indicate the fire was not accidental. Officials do not have an estimate of the monetary damage of the fire at this time, however the residence and its’ contents sustained a significant amount of fire and smoke damage.
