EAST LAMPTER TWP., Lancaster County, Pa. –A traffic stop led to the arrest of a fugitive from Chicago. East Lampeter Twp Police stopped Zachary Shaun Smith, 39, for a minor traffic violation on Lincoln Highway East. Turns out, Smith was wanted in Illinois for a parole violation on the charge of homicide. Smith was staying at a hotel on Lincoln Highway East. Police charged him with Fugitive From Justice and he was committed to Lancaster Co. Prison pending extradition.
