LANCASTER, Pa. – A Lancaster man wanted on child abuse charges is found living in Delaware. Dennis Ishman, Jr., featured on Crime Stoppers earlier this month, was arrested by Delaware State Police in Lewes on Monday.

Lancaster City Police have an arrest warrant for Ishman, charging him with Simple Assault, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Intimidation of Witness or Victim.

Delaware State Police received information that Ishman was at an address in the Lewes area. Troopers responded to the address and found Ishman, who apparently resisted arrest. He is currently being held at Sussex Correctional Institution.

Delaware State Police also filed local charges in Sussex County against Ishman, for Resisting Arrest and Criminal Impersonation.

At some point, Ishman will be extradited back to Lancaster County.
