YORK, Pa. – Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders made a surprise stop in York following a town hall gathering at Gettysburg College.
Senator Sanders stopped at the White Rose Bar & Grill, 48 N. Beaver Street surprising happy hour patrons with his entourage of Secret Service agents. He rubbed elbows with some of the other customers before having dinner.
Sanders’ next stop was Millersville University in Lancaster County, where a huge crowd came out to hear him speak. On Saturday, Sanders will travel to Baltimore and Wilmington, Delaware.
