FAIRVIEW TWP., Pa.- Police say a Fairview Township woman was driving under the influence, with her daughter in the car, when she was involved in a minor crash earlier this month.

Lydia Stinson, 25, of the 300-block of Limekiln Road, was charged with DUI, possession of a small amount of marijuana, endangering the welfare of a child and having an improper child restraint system.

On April 15th, police say Stinson was involved in a crash at the A-Plus Sunoco/McDonald’s along the 100-block of Limekiln Road in New Cumberland.

Police spoke with her and determined she had been drinking before backing her car into another vehicle that was parked at the gas pumps.

Officers also say her juvenile daughter was unsecured inside the car at the time of the crash. When police took Stinson into custody, officers found a small amount of marijuana on her.

She was arraigned before District Judge David Eshbach and released on non-monetary bail.
