CARLISLE, Pa. – A Carlisle man is charged with providing false information on two applications to purchase a firearm.
Craig D. Brown, 47, attempted to purchase a handgun in January, 2015 from a gun dealer in Carlisle. He was denied the sale after being reviewed by the Pennsylvania State Police PICS program. State Police then referred the investigation to the Carlisle Police Department.
Brownfield is charged with Sale or Transfer Firearms and Unsworn Falsification to Authorities on forms submitted to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Pennsylvania State Police.
