Police respond to the scene of armed robberies in Adams and Lancaster counties. Two suspects reportedly armed with handgun robbed the Family Dollar Store in the 900 block of South Duke Street at about 9:15 p.m. The suspects got away with some cash.
In Adams County, a lone male robbed the East Berlin Pharmacy in the 300 block of West King Street. It happened at about 9:20 p.m. According to reports the suspects held his hand in a plastic bag indicating that he had a weapon. He got away with some narcotics and cash.
The investigation into both robberies continues.
