LANCASTER, Pa. – Lancaster City Police make their 25th illegal gun arrest in 2016. Police responded at about 1:09 a.m. Monday to a complaint of individuals yelling back and forth from inside and outside of a home.

When officers arrived on the scene they found James Deshaujn Ross, 20, standing next to an illegally parked vehicle in front of the residence.  As officers approached him, Ross turned away quickly, moved his hands to the front of his body and began walking away.  He was quickly detained and patted down.

Police discovered a stolen Walter P22, that had been reported stolen in East Hempfield Township in June 2015, inside his vest.

Ross was charged with one count of Firearms Not to be Carried Without a License and Receiving Stolen Property.
