Man arrested after providing police with false information

LANCASTER, Pa.– A man has been arrested after providing false information to the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police.

Samuel Hunter Ayres, 24, provided members of the police department with a false name and date of birth.

Once his proper identification was determined, it was discovered that Ayres had an outstanding warrant for arrest.

Ayres was taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.
