MORE SHOWERS: A slow moving storm system brings more showers chances to the region Monday. Shower coverage in not as widespread as yesterday, but the umbrella or a light rain is necessary heading out the door. A few isolated showers are likely for the morning, and some foggy spots too that slow us down during the morning commute. A better chance for showers is this afternoon between the hours of 1 P.M. to 5 P.M. especially near the state border. Some sunshine make a few thunderstorms possible, and there’s the chance a few turn severe. Damaging winds and hail are the primary threats. Highs temperatures are warmer, in the middle 60s to lower 70s. It’s mainly dry and mild for the evening. A wave of widespread showers and thunderstorms are likely through the night. Overnight temperatures are in the lower to middle 50s. Tuesday brings more shower chances, especially during the morning. The activity is more isolated in nature for the afternoon. Temperatures aren’t as mild, with highs in the lower to middle 60s.
COOLER, MORE SHOWERS: Shower chances continue Wednesday as the same stubborn storm system slowly drifts east. Temperatures are still in the 60s, but cooler air slides in for Thursday. Expect highs in the 50s, and even a some showers likely again! A few showers are still possible Friday, with highs back into the lower 60s.
WEEKEND OUTLOOK: There’s some indication for a short break from the showers on Saturday. Skies are partly sunny, with temperatures jumping into the 70s. The dry time is limited, however. More shower chances arrive Sunday, but highs are still near 70 degrees.
