SWATARA TWP., Dauphin County, Pa. — Swatara Twp. Police arrest a man they say tried to lure two high school girls with a soda. It happened on April 15th, at Steel High High School. Police say two high school age females were approached on South Harrisburg Street between Orchard and Walnut Streets. He tried to engage them in conversation and then tried to get them to drink a coke.

The girls walked away from the suspect because his behavior was scaring them. When the suspect could no longer get the females to engage him in conversation he drove away in a small white Ford sedan. Swatara Township Police Department publicized the story and asked for the public’s help finding the suspect. Information they received led them to Eliud Montanez-Castro. The girls identified him as the man who tried to lure them. Montanez-Castro is charged with Luring a Child Into a Motor Vehicle and Harassment. Castro was remanded to DCP on $5,000.00 straight bail.
