Police on scene of shooting in Carlisle

CARLISLE, Pa. – Borough police responded at about 7:27 p.m. Monday to a reported shooting in the 300 block of North Pitt Street.  One victim was taken by helicopter to a trauma center. Officers are still searching for the source of the shots.

The victim is a 22 year old black male that was shot on the back of his right shoulder and was transported to Hershey Medical Center. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Police feel that this was an intentional shooting and request that anyone with information regarding this investigation please call 717-243-5252.
