Police seek to ID suspect who hit victim in head with a brick

HARRISBURG, Pa. – Harrisburg City Police seek help from the public in identifying the suspect who hit a individual in the head with a brick during street fight last week.

On Wednesday, April 27 police responded to a large fight in the area of 14th and Swatara Streets. When officers arrived on the scene they encountered a large number of people, but no active fight.  As their investigation continued, individuals told officers that a fight broke out at John Harris campus of Harrisburg High School. That fight was the catalyst for the fight at 14th & Swatara later in the day.

Police released a video that showed a male picking up a brick and striking a male several times in the head. (WARNING THE VIDEO IS GRAPHIC AND CONTAINS FOUL LANGUAGE)  He then kicks the victim in the head. Investigators are working with school officials to identify all the participants in the fight.
