Police seek to ID Weis Markets armed robbery suspect

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. – Police seek help from the public in identifying the female suspect in the armed robbery of a Weis Markets over the weekend.  It happened at about 4:12 p.m. Sunday at the supermarket at the Manor Shopping Center, 1204 Millersville Pike

Police say as the suspect was making a small purchase in the check-out lane, she raised her shirt to show she was carrying a firearm and told the female clerk to give her all the money from the register. The clerk did as she was told and the suspect walked out of the store with an undisclosed amount.

Investigators released several surveillance photos of the suspect.  She is described as a white female in her late 40’s, wearing an orange hoodie and black pants.
