Suspect arrested in Carlisle stabbing

CARLISLE, Pa. – Carlisle Borough charge 22 year old Vance X. Johnson in a weekend stabbing.

The incident happened on Friday at about 5:53 p.m. in the 600 block of N. Pitt Street. A witness to the assault followed the alleged suspect. Police were able to locate and identify Johnson in the alleyway next to the police station.

Other witnesses say a fight inside a home led to the stabbing of an 18 year old male. The victim suffered a stab wound in the upper right chest area. He is being treated at Hershey Medical Center.

Johnson is charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Reckless Endangerment and Marijuana possession.

Police say their investigation into the stabbing continues.
