MARTIC TWP., Pa. – The Lancaster County Conservancy will discuss the ongoing situation at Holtwood Park with Talen Energy on Thursday, conservancy representatives told FOX43.
Talen, which owns the plot of land where the park and the Kelly’s Run trailhead are located, closed the property last week, drawing fire from hundreds of park users who staged a protest on Saturday and packed a township meeting Monday night.
It will be a conference call between the conservancy and the energy company, the conservancy told FOX43 Tuesday.
The Martic Township Board of Supervisors has also been trying to set a meeting with the company to discuss the park closure, with no luck as of yet, Supervisor Duane Sellers said Monday at the board’s regularly-scheduled meeting.
