HARRISBURG, Pa. – City police seek the whereabouts of a “person of interest” in a shooting last month that left a Harrisburg woman paralyzed.

The shooting happened just before midnight on Sunday, April 10th in the area of the 1400 block of Swatara Street.  Police discovered the 33 year old victim lying outside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to Hershey Medical Center where she is listed in critical condition and is paralyzed from the waist down.

Investigators have identified Marshall Everett as a person of interest/witness in the shooting. Detectives have spoken to Everett over the phone but he has so far refused to meet with police or cooperate in the case.

Everett was identified in a surveillance video to have a firearm in his possession shortly after the shooting had occurred.  He has been charged with Persons Not to Possess a Firearm and a state parole detainer. Police say Everett should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information regarding the shooting or the location of Everett can call the Dauphin County Police dispatch at (717) 558-6900 and ask for a City detective.

Dauphin County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2000 for information leading to an arrest in the case.
