DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. – An upper Dauphin County man is behind bars accused of repeatedly raping two young girls for nearly two years.

Pennsylvania State Police arrested Timothy M. Watts Jr,, 33, of Berrysburg Borough, following an investigation that began on April 26.  Police became aware of the assaults through mandated reporters to Child Protective Services. An investigation was launched with the assistance of Dauphin County Children and Youth Services.

The investigation revealed that Watts forcibly raped, assault and corrupted the the two female victims, ages 13 and 12 years old. The rapes began when the victims were ages 9 and 11 and occurred up until early April.

Watts was interviewed on Wednesday, May 4th and confessed to the numerous forcible rapes and sexual assaults.

Charges against Watts include Rape of a Child under 13, Statutory Sexual Assault, Aggravated Indecent Assault, Unlawful Contact with a Minor, Aggravated Indecent Assault, Incest, Corruption of Minors and other criminal charges.

Following arraignment Thursday night,  he was sent to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of $500,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. Friday, May 13th.
