CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. – Two Mechanicsburg men are caught in the act of breaking into vehicles early this morning by Upper Allen Police.  The incident happened in the 6oo block of Geneva Drive.

One suspect had reportedly already gone through several unlocked cars and was entering more. When officers arrived they found Kyle E. Kratzer, 30, inside someone else’s vehicle with property concealed in his pockets.  Michael E. Poet, 35, was waiting in his vehicle nearby to pick up Kratzer.

Both men were immediately taken into custody. Poet was found with drugs and paraphernalia on him.

Charges against both men include Theft from a Motor Vehicle, Loitering and Prowling at Night Time, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
