YORK, Pa.-- Today is Cinco de Mayo, and in honor of the holiday the Garlic Poet Restaurant & Bar is coming to our kitchen set to prepare some mouth-watering dishes.
Chef Kurt Wewer is preparing tacos in both shells and tortillas as well as showing what to drink with your feast. He is also bringing house fermented kimchi, malt roasted pork tacos for sampling.
Chef Wewer is also previewing an event that the Garlic Poet Restaurant & Bar along with the Pizza Boy Brewing Company/Intangible Ales will be hosting, called the American Cancer Society Farm-to-Table Kickoff! There will be five courses of locally sourced food, made from scratch cuisine that is designed by Chef Wewer. The meals will be paired with five (or more!) beers from Pizza Boy Brewing and Intangible Ales. The event will be held on June 8 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
