MIDDLETOWN, Pa.– One Pennsylvania Lottery Cash4Life™ ticket sold in York County for the Thursday, May 5, drawing won a prize of $1,000 a week for life. It is the third Cash4Life second-tier prize won in Pennsylvania since the state joined the multi-state game.

The ticket correctly matched all five balls drawn, 17-18-30-43-49, but not the green Cash Ball, 04, to win an annuity prize valued at $52,000 a year for life, less applicable tax withholding. The prize has a cash value of $1 million, less applicable tax withholding.

The winning ticket was sold at, Sheetz, 405 Memory Lane, York.

The prize must be claimed and the ticket validated before the winner can be identified. Cash4Life winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.

The holder of any annuity prize-winning ticket should immediately sign the back of the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a claim at Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County. Claims may be filed Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

More than 18,400 other Cash4Life tickets won prizes of various amounts in the drawing. Players should check every ticket, every time. Lower-tier prizes may be claimed at a Lottery retailer.

Since the game launched in Pennsylvania last April, more than 2.5 million Cash4Life players across the state have won more than $14.7 million in prizes, including last night’s second-tier prize. The game’s top prize is $1,000 a day for life.

In the 2014-15 fiscal year, in addition to awarding more than $75.4 million in prizes to York County winners, the Pennsylvania Lottery contributed more than $31.9 million to programs serving the county’s older residents.
