Teens charged for throwing water bottle from school bus striking Amish girl

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. –  East Lampeter Township Police file charges of Simple Assault, Propulsion of Missiles onto a Roadway and Criminal Conspiracy against two Conestoga Valley high school students following an incident that occurred on April 11th at the intersection of Quarry Road and Forest Hill Road in Leola.

A seven year old Amish girl was struck with a full water bottle that was thrown from a passing school bus. The child was treated for a minor injury from the impact of the bottle.

A police investigation determined that 18 year old, Marshall A. Knapik of Brownstown and a 17 year old male juvenile, also of Brownstown had acted together in the incident.
