Carlisle Police searching for gunman

CARLISLE, Pa. – Police in Cumberland County are looking for a the gunman in a Sunday morning shooting that injured one person.

Chad Stanback is wanted for Attempted Homicide, after the incident that happened around 5:15 a.m. Police found a gunshot victim in the 1300-block of North Pitt Street in Carlisle.

The victim was taken to the hospital, how no information about the person’s condition has been provided.

Stanback is also facing charges of Aggravated Assault, Felon not to own a firearm, and various other charges.

He was last seen driving a burgundy 2007 Chrysler 300 sedan with a PA license plate JMF 6813. Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone spotting Stanback or the Chrysler should call 911.
