WASHINGTON COUNTY, MD – A Fulton County woman was identified as the victim in a fatal crash involving a single vehicle this morning in Washington County, Maryland. It happened at about 9:11 a.m. in the area of Interstate 70 East (Eisenhower Memorial Highway) near mile marker 21.

Maryland State Police say a Maroon, 2006 Chevy Trailblazer left the roadway and traveled into the center median.  The Chevy continued to slide on the grassy surface and eventually struck a tree head-on before coming to rest.
