Wednesday is a milder day with passing afternoon showers.

Some lingering showers are possible for the Barnstormers game.

MILDER WITH SHOWERS: A warm front remains draped near the region this morning, and this brings more shower chances for Wednesday. Expect some plenty of clouds, and even some hazy/foggy spots through the morning. A few stray showers are possible. During the afternoon, expect a wave passing showers to pass through. It’s milder despite the shower chances, with temperatures in the lower to middle 60s. The evening and overnight is drier with a couple showers possible. A cold front to our west begins shifting east on Thursday. Most of Thursday is dry, but a few late showers cannot be ruled out. Showers are expected late Thursday night through the early afternoon on Friday. Highs both days are milder, in the 70s.

Shower chances last into the weekend, so the umbrella is still needed.

WEEKEND COOLING: Saturday another weak system quickly moves through, making a few showers possible once more. Highs are in the 60s. Sunday brings more sunshine and even cooler temperatures. Expect readings near the 60 degree mark. A few isolated showers could pop up throughout the region.

NEXT WEEK: Monday is a bit milder, but still below seasonable averages for this time of year. Expect highs in the lower to middle 60s. Tuesday is a touch milder, with numbers still in the 60s. There’s also the chance a few showers sneak into the forecast.

Have a great Wednesday!
