MILDER TEMPERATURES ALONG WITH SHOWERS

After a round of showers today, the threat for showers briefly diminishes tonight and tomorrow.  Mostly cloudy skies and drier conditions, allows temperatures to drop to the upper 40s to middle 50s.  A warm front is pulled north Thursday which allows for much warmer air to intrude the area.  Highs will jump to the lower 70s.  Can’t rule out an isolated shower but most of the day is dry with sunny breaks.  A cold front sweeps through Friday bringing a return of showers and possible thunderstorms. Highs are still mild in the lower 70s after morning lows begin in the middle to upper 50s.

WEEKEND COOLDOWN

A secondary wave and associated cold front on Saturday will produce another round of showers mid-day.  High temperatures are cooler in the middle 60s. However, an upper-level trough settles in by Sunday, allowing even chillier air to move in for the second half of the weekend.  Morning lows in the lower 40s and highs climbing to the upper 50s and lower 60s despite a day of sunshine and few passing clouds.  And, with the colder air aloft, sunshine at the surface, a few isolated showers could pop up during the day Sunday.

NEXT WEEK
