Local business owner and former soccer coach arrested for allegedly being part of cocaine ring

LOWER ALLEN TWP., Pa. – The owner of M and J Pizza, in Lower Allen Township, and former Red Lion High School soccer coach, Carlos Javier Mendoza has been arrested for allegedly selling cocaine. Court documents say Mendoza was part of a cocaine distribution ring that also included Gilbert Davalos-Gonzalez, Sergio Becerra-Santiago, George Velez-Ayala and Emanuel De-Jesus.

The investigation lasted from September of 2015 through March of 2016. Police say some of the sales happened at the pizza shop while others occurred across Dauphin, Cumberland and Centre County.

Mendoza,Gilbert Davalos-Gonzalez, Sergio Becerra-Santiago, and George Velez-Ayala are all in the Cumberland County Prison.

There is a warrant out for Emanuel De-Jesus.

Preliminary hearing are scheduled for May 25.
