Threat at Gettysburg Area High School for the second time this week

GETTYSBURG — For the second time this week someone has made a threat against Gettysburg Area High School.

The newest threat came Today.

The school district sent an e-mail to parents this afternoon reading they have not been able to identify the suspect yet, and district officials are putting protocols in place.

Starting this afternoon access to the school will be restricted until further notice while police investigate. Students going to school tomorrow should not arrive before 7AM.

All faculty, staff, and students should go in the building through the main entrance at the flag pole.

Students will be searched by police as they enter theĀ building, and will not be allowed to bring in book bags and backpacks.

Athletes with bags for their equipment should report to the gymnasium entrance.
