BRIEF DRYING: High Pressure is building into the region on this Thursday morning, and it’s going to dry us. Some leftover clouds and a few showers fade after daybreak. It’s sunnier, with milder temperatures too. There could still be a stray shower during the afternoon, but it’s noticeably drier, with highs near 70 degrees. The sunshine remains for the end of the week, and temperatures are closer to seasonal averages. Highs are near 70 degrees on Thursday before creeping into the lower to middle 70s on Friday.
WET WEEKEND OUTLOOK: We’ll be watching a system that likely brings showers into the weekend forecast. The brunt of the shower activity is currently concentrated around Saturday, with a few stray showers possible Sunday. Temperatures Saturday currently look well below average because of the showers, with warmer temperatures likely Sunday and less widespread shower activity.
NEXT WEEK: The pattern remains stagnant into early next week. Despite temperatures near seasonable averages on Monday, we’re watching for a few remnant showers. Skies are likely partly sunny. The showers should be gone by Tuesday, and partly cloudy skies remain through Wednesday. Highs turn much warmer. Temperatures are near 80 degrees by Wednesday!
Have a great Thursday!
