LANCASTER– Cake smash photo shoots have been all the rage for the toddler set for quite some time, but recently the adults have been getting in on the fun.
Just recently a Lancaster photo studio joined in with a cake smash for a 30th birthday! Ashley Hartman is good friends with photographer Holly Fite of Mellonberry Photography, and the two were inspired by a viral post shared by Good Morning America.
Ashley’s birthday was in March, but the two decided it’s never too late to celebrate! After about an hour of planning, and a quick trip to Party City and the local grocery store they had everything they needed for the smash!
Even though this was a spur of the moment shoot, Holly said she would absolutely do it again, “It was so much fun, I would do it again in a heartbeat! I know milestone birthdays like this can sometimes be depressing for people, but this is a great way to have some fun, make light of the situation and just celebrate the occasion!”
