LEBANON, Pa- Police say a teenager was mishandling a loaded gun when he shot another Saturday in Lebanon.

The incident happened just before 6:30 p.m. along the 400 block of Guilford Street.

Police found Andrew Johnson, 22, with a gunshot wound to the stomach. He was transported to a local hospital where he is currently listed in critical condition.

The shooter, 19-year-old Lance Puente, of Lebanon, was arrested on scene without incident, police said.

Puente is now being charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person. He was arraigned early Sunday morning by MDJ Capello and placed in LCCF in lieu of $100,000.00 bail.

Police say they do believe that Puente was handling a loaded gun in a reckless manner and the gun discharged, striking Johnson in the torso.

If anyone has any information they are asked to contact Lebanon City police at 717-272-6611.
