From veterans to teachers

Harrisburg, Pa. - A new program is helping veterans get their teacher certifications. Lawmakers announced House Bill 2078, which allows veterans, military members and their spouses to get expedited service and a reduced fee when applying for teacher licenses. The House Education Committee passed the bill this morning. Applicants of the program must meet Pennsylvania teacher certifications requirements as well.
