HARRISBURG, Pa.– A man was charged with robbery after robbing a clerk of $150.

On May 12, police responded to a call at 1001 N. 3rd St. for a robbery with a possible armed suspect.

The clerk told police that an older white male entered the store with his left hand in his sweatshirt pocket and demanded that the clerk open the drawer and hand him the money.

Fearing that the man had a weapon beneath his sweatshirt, the clerk handed him $150 from the drawer and the man left the store.

Officers were able to identify Jeffery Degler as the man who committed this robbery, and he was taken into custody without incident.

Degler has been charged with one count of robbery.
