$2,000 reward offered for information leading to arrest in Harrisburg’s latest shooting

HARRISBURG, Pa- Police say two people were shot Thursday in broad daylight in Harrisburg.

The shooting happened just before 6:00p.m. along the 600 block of Harris Street. When officers arrived they found one male and one female suffering from gunshot wounds.

They both were taken to Harrisburg Hospital. The man underwent immediate surgery due to a gunshot wound that went through his left arm and into his chest.

The female suffered a gunshot wound to her right hand. She is expected to make a full recovery.

According to police, the suspect is being described as an overweight, black male, in his late 30’s.

Anyone with information can also call the Dauphin County Police dispatch at 717-558-6900 and ask for a City detective.

Dauphin County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2000 for information leading to an arrest in this incident.
