Several garages destroyed in Sunday morning fire in York: Fire Chief rules arson

YORK, Pa. — A fire destroyed seven garages early Sunday morning in York. Officials say the fire started around 5:00 a.m. along Jackson Street and Pershing Avenue.

It took crews about an hour to get the flames under control.

No injuries were reported.

York Fire Chief believes they were intentionally set.
