Hundreds evacuated from Lancaster Host Resort after ceiling collapse

EAST LAMPETER TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The Lancaster Host closed Saturday evening after a water pipe burst in the building causing parts of the ceiling to collapse. It happened around 6:30 p.m. in East Lampeter Township.

Authorities say a dance competition was underway at the time of the collapse. About 500 people had to be evacuated.

No one was hurt. Authorities expect the damage to be repaired in a few days.
