MUGGY MEMORIAL DAY: An approaching cold front brings some shower and thunderstorm chances for Memorial Day, but it is not going to be a washout. Morning showers dry up, and even breaks of sunshine are expected. It’s enough to warm afternoon high temperatures in the lower to middle 80s. It’s still muggy too. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms pop up, so be ready to temporarily take any outdoor activities inside.
LESS HUMID: Once the cold front crosses through, less humid air works into the region. Expect more sunshine Tuesday and drier conditions Tuesday. A stray shower cannot be ruled out. Temperatures are still warm, in the lower to middle 80s. Skies Wednesday are mostly sunny, with afternoon high temperatures in the upper 70s to lower 80s.
WARM THROUGH WEEKEND: The rest of the week is warm with above average temperatures. Thursday is dry, but clouds increase ahead of our next system. Humidity levels are still in check, but they nudge up a bit Friday. Our next cold front crosses through then as well. Showers and thunderstorms are expected through the day. Temperatures are in the lower to middle 80s on Thursday, and middle to upper 70s on Friday. Saturday is dry, but thunderstorm chances quickly return Sunday.
Have a great Monday!
